PIWC Philadelphia SMS Opt-In Verification

PIWC Philadelphia uses an internal church membership and check-in application on an iPad at our church location. The registration/check-in application is not publicly accessible. This page is provided solely to document and verify the SMS opt-in process presented to members, guests, and attendees.

How SMS Consent Works

Users may provide their mobile phone number without consenting to receive SMS messages. SMS consent is optional. The SMS consent checkbox is unchecked by default, and users may submit the registration/check-in form without selecting the SMS consent checkbox. Only users who affirmatively select the SMS consent checkbox are enrolled to receive SMS communications.
